This is the Cartier Tank Cintree reference 2718 from the revered Cartier Collection Privee (CPCP). Originally introduced in the early 1920s spawning from the shape of the legendary Cartier Tank, the Cintree brought about a new dimension to the line. Aggressively curved with an art deco aesthetic, the Cintree was unlike anything that preceded it. A shape that has lasted the test of time, the Cintree remains among the most beloved Cartiers even up till today.

Originating as many other famous Cartiers from the Paris boutique, the Cintree was aptly named after the French word for “curved” and the model has since seen several variations since its introduction. The model was truly ushered into the modern era during the introduction of the 50-piece platinum and 150-piece yellow gold limited editions in 2004.
