While the 4073 isn't often regarded as a flagship model from the brand's history, the reference is truly one of its most overlooked time-only models. Introduced during the mid 1940s, the reference 4073 embodies a period in the brand's history where proportion and elegance took precedence over excess. Restrained and minimalist, the 4073 is the brand's answer to refined simplicity. Housed in a 34mm pink gold case, the reference carries the brand's signature teardrop-style lugs and sloped bezel. In addition, the offered example is housed in a pink gold case, which is materially far less common than the usual case metal of yellow gold. While undocumented, it is likely that the pink gold variant is 2-3 times less common that its yellow gold counterpart.
