Alain Silberstein Krono Bauhaus Annual Calendar

US$0.00
SOLD

Description

This is the Alain Silberstein Krono Bauhaus. Originally an interior designer from Paris, Alain Silberstein released his first timepiece, the Krono Bauhaus, in Baselword 1987. A whimsical design, the Krono Bauhaus resembled a painting with the dial as the canvas. It was a myriad of primary colours and geometric shapes that Silberstein would become famous for. The same design language can be seen in his later collaborations with Max Busser of MB&F and Louis Erard. A Silberstein design is almost instantly recognizable, influenced largely by the Bauhaus School of design. This particular Alain Silberstein timepiece is an annual calendar that displays the day, date and month. The date, month and moonphase is operated via the crown and the day function is operated by a side pusher. The case size is 38mm and the thickness is 15mm, running on a Valjoux 7751 movement. This release was a limited edition of 999 pieces.

Condition

This Alain Silberstein Annual Calendar is in excellent pre-owned condition with almost no signs of prior wear. It retains a full set of original box, papers, strap and some accessories.
