Breguet Classique Regulator 3690

US$0.00
SOLD

Description

This is the Breguet Classique Regulator 3690. While Breguet may not be the first brand mentioned by collectors today, the brand has one of the strongest legacies when it comes to watchmaking. Originally established in the late 18th century, Louis Breguet was an early adopter of the steel hands with circle motifs, the curved numerals and the guilloche pattern on the dial. The design language is distinctive even up till today. The “Souscription”, a single-hand pocket watch, is one of the most important and famous pocket watches in history. In the early 19th century, Louis Breguet invented the Tourbillion, which is one of the most sought after complications in horology. This reference 3690 has the regulator complication, which separates the hour, minute and seconds hand within the dial. Originally introduced by Chronoswiss, the Regulator is a rather interesting complication due to their unique design and the way time is told. In combination with the watchmaking prowess and history of Breguet, the 3690 is a compelling piece to have in one’s collection.

Condition

This Breguet 3690 is in very good pre-owned condition. The white gold case shows little to no signs of prior wear. There are some hairlines on the caseback from prior use but the caseback engravings remain clear. It retains its original Breguet white gold buckle and the certificate of guarantee.
