Cartier Ceinture Midsize

US$0.00
SOLD

Description

This is the Cartier Ceinture Midsize. Originally released back in 1926, this model was released again in 25 and 27mm in the early 1970s. A year after, the largest case size of 31mm was released. Named after a belt buckle because of its unique square shape, it’s one of the few Cartier references that does not have the traditional carbochrome blue crown. The crown in the Ceinture sits flat within the case. The 27mm reference runs on a Cartier-signed Calibre 78.1, a manual wind. Given that Cartiers have recently enjoyed a meteoric rise, the Ceinture is among the few references that remain underappreciated.

Condition

This Cartier Ceinture is in good condition. There are minor signs of wear on the case itself. The crystal has minor signs of wear which can only be seen under specific lighting. This timepiece retains all original parts and has a recently serviced movement. The crown winds smoothly and the serial and stamps are still very visible on the caseback. It also retains its original Cartier yellow gold buckle.
