Cartier Tank Basculante 2390

US$0.00
SOLD

Description

This is the Cartier Tank Basculante reference 2390. The Tank Basculante’s reversible case makes it one of the most desirable and intriguing among all Tanks and the uniqueness of the Tank Basculante has a cult-like following among most horology enthusiasts. Most notably, the Tank Basculante is often compared to the Reverso given that both contain the reversible mechanism in the case. However, the difference is in the details. The Tank Basculante uses a top down case design to flip the timepiece, unlike the Reverso which flips over on a horizontal axis. The crown located at the 12 o’clock which gives the case a perfectly symmetrical look. This reference runs on a manual winding movement. With the signature carbochrome and guilloche dial, the Tank Basculante remains one of the most beloved among all of the Cartier wristwatch collection.

Condition

This Cartier Tank Basculante remains in good condition There are some minor hairlines on the top of the case near the crown which can only be seen under certain light conditions. The winding of the crown remains smooth and the overall case and caseback remains in good condition. The flipping mechanism remains in excellent condition and the dial is unblemished.
