A fourth generation watchmaker, Daniel Roth was selected by Audemars Piguet early in his career due to his technical watchmaking ability. Following the AP stint, Roth moved to Breguet where until today, his knack for design still leaves footprints. After fourteen years, Roth then decided to start his own company under his name, Daniel Roth. As one of the pioneers of bringing independents mainstream, Daniel Roth will always remain one of the most respected and avant-garde watchmakers of his generation. The movement is a DR400, based on the legendary Zenith El Primero movement as found in his 3-register Chronographs. The case is his signature ellipsocurvex shape and measures 38 x 45mm. Daniel Roth often flies under the radar especially with modern collectors but his contributions to the world of horology will never be forgotten.
