H. Moser & Cie Endeavour "Blue Lagoon" 1200-1213

US$0.00
SOLD

Description

This is the H. Moser & Cie Endeavour Centre Seconds Blue Lagoon. Though the origination of the brand by Heinrich Moser was established in the 1800s, the H. Moser & Cie. that we know today started its journey in 2012, when the brand was bought over by the Meylan family. Producing a very small number of less than 2,000 watches a year, the brand’s watches are highly recognizable and they have managed to carved out a distinct design identity in a relatively short period of time.

The timepiece in question, the Endeavour Blue Lagoon, was part of a 100-piece limited run. Encased in stainless steel, the fume dial is a sunburst blue with varying gradients depending on the light. It’s no secret that Moser makes one of, if not the best fume dials in modern watchmaking and has become their signature. Their dials are also highly legible given the minimalist aesthetic.

The watch is powered by the brand’s in-house HMC 200 automatic movement with a power reserve of 72 hours and dressed with a 18k gold rotor. As mentioned earlier, Moser produces everything in-house, including all their movements, which is not only impressive but also justifies their low production numbers.

As a brand, H. Moser & Cie has really grown in stature over the past few years. They have done something remarkable in finding the perfect blend of simplicity and complexity. Added to the fact that the owners Edouard and Bertrand Meylan are highly personable and humble, owning a H. Moser & Cie timepiece really feels like being part of a close-knit independent family.

Condition

This H. Moser & Cie Blue Lagoon is in excellent pre-owned condition. It has only been worn a handful of times with almost no signs of wear except some very light hairlines on the bezel. It retains a full set of original box and guarantee dated 2021 and the watch is in full working order.
