Heuer Camaro 7743NT First Execution

US$0.00
SOLD

Description

This is the Heuer Camaro 7743NT, First Execution. This reference was introduced in 1968 when the Chevrolet Camaro served as the Indy 500’s official pace car. Given the popularity of racing and its lineage with many iconic timepiece models, it was a move of marketing genius by Jack Heuer. The angular case shape is unique to the Camaro, symbolic of the masculinity often associated with motorsports. The production of the 7743 ended in 1972 and given the short production period, the Camaro remains a cult favourite in the world of vintage Heuers.

Condition

This Heuer Camaro 7743NT is in very good pre-owned condition. The case shows minimal signs of wear. There are some fine hairlines on the top left of the crystal near the 11 o’clock marker which does not affect the visibility of the dial or the tachymetre. On the seconds subdial, there is a small mark. Overall, the watch remains in very good condition given its age.
