This is the Louis Erard x Alain Silberstein Excellence Regulator limited to 178 pieces. Nominated for the 2020 GPHG, the Excellence Regulateur was a collaboration between independent Swiss watchmaker Louis Erard and designer Alain Silberstein. Alain Silberstein has worked with other famous watchmakers such as MB&F and Romain Jerome before this collaboration. The purpose of the regulator is to separate the indications of the hours, minutes and seconds and this timepiece does it in a colourful yet minimalistic fashion. Powered by a movement based on the top grade ETA Peseux 7001, this timepiece is a manual wind with a 42 hour power reserve. It is an artistic design that is a feast for the eyes.
