Omega "Tin Tin" Speedmaster 311.30.42.30.01.004

US$0.00
SOLD

Description

This is Omega “Tin Tin” Speedmaster. The Speedmaster is the quintessential chronograph, often suggested as the starting piece of a collection. After all, what more special that a watch that commemorates the moon landing? Given that Speedmasters have been produced in several variants and SKUs, it’s undeniable that some are more outstanding than the rest. The Omega “Tin Tin” was introduced in 2013 during Baselworld almost as an afterthought. In fact, the reception of the TinTin was so bad that it was cancelled soon after its introduction. Given the short production, it was not long before Omega collectors started to consider this model as a diamond in the rough. Originally thought of as a racing dial, the dial track is in fact a reference to the rocket of TinTin’s “Explorers on the Moon”. While the limited production is unintentional, it definitely has increased the collectability of this piece far more than expected.

This Omega “Tin Tin” Speedmaster is in excellent pre-owned condition. There are minimal signs of wear on the case and the bracelet and it retains a full set of box and warranty cards.
