Vacheron Constantin Les Historiques Toledo 42100/000G

US$0.00
SOLD

Description

This is the Vacheron Constantin Les Historique 42100. Originally a timepiece known as the Carre Galbe which means “Curved Square”, the unique shape of the watch was affectionately known as Cioccolatone due to the resemblance of its shape to a chocolate. The Cioccolatone series was created in the early 1950s and has undergone a few iterations over the years. In 1989, Vacheron re-issued a more modern interpretation of the Cioccolatone in a 31 x 38 case size. Vacheron has always had a strong design language with a focus on case shapes and dials and this one is no different. The dial is silvered guilloche with Roman quarters and is bordered by a stepped bezel. The case retains its square shape of the past with lovely curvatures. It runs on an automatic Cal 1312, 27-jewelled movement with a Girard-Perregaux base. It also comes accompanied with a full set of original box and certificate.

Condition

This Vacheron Constantin 42100 is in good pre-owned condition with some signs of wear. The case appears unpolished and there are some hairlines scratches on the case from prior wear. The caseback remains in excellent condition. It comes with a full set of original box and certificate as well as the 18K white gold Vacheron Buckle.
