A rich history of producing quality of the highest standards, they are undoubtedly one of the most resilient as well, surviving both world wars and many other historical events along the way. They’re also the purveyor of the world’s most complicated wristwatch. The first generation Overseas was produced in 1996 as a successor to the 222. Shaped after their signature Maltese cross, the 42042 was industrial, rugged and versatile and was powered by the VC1311 as an upgraded caliber from the 42040. It has a case size of 37mm and this variant is in superluminova with Arabic numerals. The Overseas has since gone on to become Vacheron’s most popular model and their flagship sports model.

This Vacheron Constantin 42042 is in excellent pre-owned condition with very minimal signs of wear. The watch has just received a full service and overhaul from the boutique and comes with electronic service papers. The bracelet has little to no stretch and the dial is flawless. The bracelet can comfortably fit a wrist size of up to 7”.
