This is the Konstantin Chaykin Minion Titanium Limited Edition. Hailing from St Petersburg, Russia, Konstantin Chaykin is an independent watchmaker made famous by his creation of the Joker wristwatch. Appointed to the AHCI as the first Russian member in 2010 after beginning his watchmaking foray in 2003, Konstantin Chaykin served as the association’s president from 2016-2019. His career has gone from strength to strength, culminating in the GPHG Audacity award in 2018.
Based on the fan-favourite characters from the hit movie Despicable Me, Konstantin Chaykin originally released the Minion iteration of his Wristmons collection in Dubai Watch Week 2021. A faithful recreation of the character in the form of a wristwatch, the watchmaker’s interpretation incorporates his signature “rolling eye” time display while the moonphase is housed within the mouth of the Minion.
Originally introduced in stainless steel, the brand released a new (and lighter) variant limited to 99 pieces in titanium two years later with the Minions Titanium. Retaining the smaller 40mm case as with the original release, the movement remains powered by a modified ETA 2892A which allows for the regulator-style “rolling eye” display as well as the moonphase.
Needless to say, the 99-piece limited edition was sold out upon release given the popularity of the original stainless steel Minion. A modern emblem of pop culture, the Minion is a truly modern interpretation of time-telling that breaks the mould of traditional watchmaking. Whimsical and fascinating, the Minion is undoubtedly a model that best reflects the spirit and innovation of Konstantin Chaykin.

This Konstantin Chaykin Minion Titanium is brand new. It comes as a full set which includes the inner and outer boxes, the watch pouch, a cleaning cloth, pusher and the warranty card dated 2024. There is some wear on the outer box. The watch is in full working order.
