This is the Omega “Speedy Tuesday 1” Ultraman Speedmaster. Likely the model that’s most associated with the Omega brand, this iconic chronograph was introduced in 1957 as a sports and racing chronograph. Originally powered by the famous Calibre 321, the Omega Speedmaster was worn by astronauts on space missions as they needed a watch that could withstand the conditions of outer space and in 1964, only Omega’s Speedmaster passed the rigorous selection criteria.
Conceived in 2017 in conjunction with watch media outlet Fratello Watches, the Speedy Tuesday 1 marked the five-year anniversary of the widely-used #speedytuesday hashtag. Launched in a limited edition of 2012 pieces and exclusively sold online, it is little wonder that the watch was sold out soon after release.
The first ever Speedmaster sporting a classic reverse-panda design, the aesthetic of the Speedy Tuesday harks back to important chronographs of the past while refreshing the classic Speedmaster. With luminous subdials, markers and hands fitting of the modern times, the Speedy Tuesday 1 maintained Speedmaster traditions such as retaining the hesalite crystal. As with most Speedmasters of the time, it was powered by the famed Omega Cal. 1861.
As far as modern Omegas go, the Speedy Tuesday 1 is as memorable as they come. It also remains the first Omega watch to be sold exclusively online and remains among the most recognizable Speedmasters today. As a matter of fact, Omega launched a new variant of the Speedmaster with the same reverse panda dial in 2026 with an updated movement and case architecture. Likely inspired by the highly successful Speedy Tuesday 1, this is proof of the colourway’s everlasting popularity.

This Omega Speedy Tuesday is in excellent pre-owned condition with only minor signs of wear on the back lugs from strap changes. The hesalite crystal has light wear near the 12 which can be polished off upon request. The dial has no signs of aging and the caseback has minimal signs of prior wear. The watch comes complete with the extra NATO strap, warranty card, double boxes and all the accessories associated with the Speedy Tuesday 1 and is in full working order.
